Rooms at the Da Vinci have been designed to celebrate the work of artists ranging from Kandinsky to Monet and Rothko to Klimt. The rooms have all been refurbished and redecorated to a very high standard. In the latest rooms and in the corridors you will find artwork from local, professional artists. On the ground floor there is an art space, a resident's lounge with full licensed facilities, 2 breakfast rooms and a conference room. The Da Vinci is conveniently situated for a variety of local attractions including the new arts centre, parks, gardens, museums and the beach with its sweeping seafront and 3-tier promenade.
The Da Vinci is a beautiful Grade 2 listed building situated off the seafront in Howard Square. It is the UK's first art hotel featuring an art gallery downstairs and art-themed rooms upstairs. The art space is sensitively located in the refurbished, spacious reception rooms. The hotel is dedicated to raising the profile of artwork by local professional artists, with a rolling programme of exhibitions. Staff can provide recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit.
Parking: Parking permits can be provided during restricted hours, subject to availability. Baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.
A full English breakfast is served in the breakfast room between 08:00 and 09:30. The breakfast room is situated on the ground floor and overlooks Howard Square. Breakfast consists of a choice of cereals, yogurts and grapefruit followed by a full, cooked English breakfast made with fresh locally sourced produce and cooked to order.
